At Bay Area Women’s Care, our providers expertly care for patients throughout their lifetimes, whether that means helping a young woman achieve her goals for family planning through contraception, or providing support during the transition to menopause through treatment and hormone therapy. We see teenagers for their first exams in adolescent gynecology, treating these young ladies as we would our own daughters.

You can expect thorough and responsive care for common gynecologic syndromes such as urinary tract infections or vaginal infections. We also bring to our patients extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex women’s health issues including abnormal pap smears, pelvic prolapse, and hormone management.

Or providers practice preventative care in gynecology and believe that annual exams and pap smears can lead to a lifetime of good health. We empower our patients with the latest findings on breast and cervical health, and early detection techniques.

Appointments may be made with any of our Healthcare Providers by calling (727) 447-7786 during normal business hours. Patients are seen by appointment only. When you call, our automated attendant will help direct you to the appropriate staff member.

Bay Area Women’s Care participates with most major insurance carriers. Please check with your insurance company prior to your visit to verify coverage and referral needs.

Laboratory services are provided for patient convenience during office hours. Pap smears, biopsies, cultures and bloodwork done in the office are sent to an outside lab, and your insurance will be billed separately for their services.

Our telephone policies are structured to allow our providers to care for our patients in the office with a minimum of interruptions. Each provider and medical assistant team has a voicemail for you to request test results, or ask any additional questions that you may have. Please keep in mind that the providers and medical assistants are seeing other patients throughout the day, and your calls will be returned as soon as possible.

For your convenience, your pharmacy may fax refill requests to (727) 447-5978, and they will be reviewed and handled within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Routine prescription refills will be made during regular office hours only.
